Gonna be an interesting one. They're coming off nowhere near the kind of domination that Sony were having with the PS2; and they couldn't really justify the higher price.

But MS have certainly got a better line-up of first year games coming.

Like Sales says, I think it'll come down to marketing. If they get it right, they've got a shot.

They dont Sony already confirmed PS4 has 30 exclusive titles in the work 20 of wich will come in the first year of the console and that theyll show a bunch of them on TGS and Gamescom. The whole E3 deal was easy to understand, MS needed to show games or ppl would jump ship, Sony took the oportunity to sucker punch MS with the DRM stuf and MS layed all theyre cards on the table while Sony held a bunch of them. Come Gamescom and TGS and other events Sony will lay these cards on the table and one up MS, at least thats the idea, all thats left to know now is how good are those 20 games coming year 1 for the PS4 if the majority of them are good its a homerun for the PS4, if the majority of them are Drive Clubs and Knacks (wich are probbaly good games but just not massive crowd pleasers) tham itll be just a bunch of nothing realy.

Now the launch day exclusives of both consoles are kinda crapy, amongst all of them Id say Dead Rising 3 looks to be the best but its kind of a week franchise and zombies are way overused, imo ppl are gona get either console on launch day not for the exclusives but for multiplataforms and the value associated with the brand, is whats coming on the first year thatll realy matter for the longterm sucess of PS4 and/or Xbone.
