Totally agree as a biased person. The game is a much more personal travel through the Metro, and everything is almost better in Last Light than it was in 2033. One of those few examples where the sequel is a better game than the predecessor, when done right (Metro 2033 was a great game as well).

Yeah 2033 was amazing as well.  But I felt the gameplay was really lacking.  It was massively upgraded for the better in last light.  I don't think there is a single aspect of the game that wasn't upgraded from 2033 for the better.
