Why would one of the biggest games for the Wii not allow for some Wiimote controls?  It saves gamers money, cause they don't have to go out and buy GC or Classic controllers.

If they used the nunchuck with the Wiimote, they would have all the buttons one needs to play Super Smash Bros.  There just wouldn't be a right joystick to do instant smashes like in the GC version, but that wasn't necessary.  And there wouldn't be analog shoulder triggers, but buttons for shields works fine...there wasn't much use for adjustable shields in SSBM.

That said, I'll probably stick to GC or Classic controllers anyway.  Especially if they tack motion controls onto the Wiimote configuration...that'd make it too different.  But we'll have to wait and see.  Maybe motion controls would work...
