Will "The Purge" be the biggest surprise hit of the year?

I think The Purge will surely do well and will (obviously) make a lot of money for the studio, but I doubt it'll be a large blockbuster or anything. It's shaping up to do some good numbers as Google Trends and other outlets are showing that "The Purge" is actually getting a lot of attention, though.
