I also can't imagine that this sharing games thing would allow for multiple people in different locations to all be able to play a game that just one of them buys. That would reduce sales by a ton. As far as being able to do it in one house, that's great because I always have to buy two of certain games (Halo, COD) to play with my kids so I'm liking that. I don't EVER do the used/ resell/borrowed thing so that means absolutely nothing to me. I understand that a lot of people do it that way and if Sony doesn't have something very similar then it seems liek MS is taking a gamble. We don't have long to now to find out for sure. |
what do you mean with out of power? how do you want to use a console then? but it also works with mobile broadband so maybe that would help you?

Man I must be missing a lot here. I was thinking if your console was offline for more than 24 hrs., it's a problem. If I lost power in my area for a few days because of say, a blizzard, then I obviously wouldn't be online. I think I just need to read the whole wall of text.

If you are without power for longer than 24 hours and can't log back in, you can't play your games.
Anyways, this console isn't for me. For me I would need the ability to privately sell my disc based games. If not, then their games better be real cheap. No $50 and $60 games. I might be reluctant to buy @ $40. At that point it would really depend on what trade in values are at retailers.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
