Prisoners should not be getting any thing in any form of media or entertainment. Prisons arent suppose to be 5 star hotels or entertainment halls. Why waste tax dollars on getting a game system for a murderer....

Honestly, I could see game system play-time as a reward on a limited basis.  Non-violent sports games would be huge and might help establish comradery.  It would be good for moral, which is important.

Definitely not as a device they could play whenever they want, though.

However, I think Sony should try to get prisons to buy Vitas for inmates in order to boost sales numbers.  That way, everyone wins, and they don't even need to buy TVs.  The world would be a better place if criminals played Little Big Planet.
