It's all about heat capacity of the materal you use for the seat.

ceramic has a higher heat capacity than i.e. plastic.
The energy needed (body heat) to warm the seat up from said cold temperature to body temp. is alot higher for certain materials.
Get a seat that is made of plastic and it will (if it even gets cold) warm up alot faster.
I HATE ceramic seats, cause they are f*cking cold...

Iron has low heat capacity and it feels cold as shit too.
