Well, it looks like we've had another wonderful month of dialogue on vgchartz, and another series of posts by those who no luv Nintendo, here's the scoop for the month.
The mob demand new things from Nintendo:
Can Nintendo still be creative?
Phrased in the form of a question "Can Nintendo still be creative?", the thread leads to two demands from Nintendo at once: New IPs, and general creativity. Nintendo fans were quick to point out that Nintendo has released a slew of new IPs in the last generation, most of which sold extremely poorly. As well, they showed that though Nintendo use the same franchises in successive releases, they innovate within those games, as can be shown by the lastest aLttP2.
Why u no at e3?
It appears as though Nintendo's lack of a major show at e3 means that Nintendo is bringing down the industry, well according to the mob. It appears that only a day later 2K games announced the very same thing. Apart from never-ending demands from spoiled gamers and an increasingly unsatiable demand for hype and flashiness, Nintendo decided they prefered making money, instead of wasting it on pleasing a consumer base that will never buy games on its platform.
The U won't be able to support PS4 games because it doesn't have a built in HD
Well, ladies and gentlemen, it seems that the U will suffer due to not having a built in Hard Disk, which it seems will affect rendering in Wii U games (according to them of course). For some reason this would only be true for down-scaled PS4 games, but not true for games designed for U off the bat. It seems like the U will have unbearable load times for games down-scaled from the PS4 only. Sorry, the PS4 is just that much more awesomer.
The U won't be able to play down-scaled PS4 games
Fresh off the press, it appears that U games won't be able to play down-scaled PS4 games because they are just so much more awesomer, more flashy, more detailed, they will have just so many more visual effects that the U just won't be able to support. Mind you, there will be plenty of low-end PCs that will continue to be able to play higher-end PC games, as was always the case, but in the case of the PS4 and the Wii U that's just impossible, because it's impossible.
