how old is the computer? it sounds like something is overheating, or a power supply that is starting to fail and can't power your computer under high loads. If its an older computer you may need to reapply the thermal paste for the cpu. not sure on how you can check the power supply. if you have two sticks of ram try the computer with each stick seperatly to see if its a ram problem.

Its only 2 years old. the ram idea sounds good. Its weird if its an overheating thing. because in the summer any time I do anything like gaming it sounds like a generator but now its getting colder even when I play games its staying nice and quiet just completely freezing no other action freezes except gaming
