I would think this should worry Sony fans. Sony is clearly too preoccupied with pleasing developers to give a damn about its customers.
While this is a sweet story from the perspective of the guy making the game, none of this says anything about how the game will turn out and how many people will want to play it. The fact that Sony is using up resources giving opportunities to small, untested developers is good for the developers, but means zilch for the consumers.
