By January 2014 WiiU will have sold 8-11m.   Meaning no less than 8m and no higher than 11m.  This is my prediction.  Table below to see where I stand.

Now that people like to call doom and gloom all the time I thought I'd give a little prediction on the matter.  So far we have seen the WiiU have a pretty decent launch and then numbers began to fall sharply after the holiday season for a number of reasons.   One would be that people really don't know what the WiiU is, but instead think it is controller.  Now as time goes by more and more people will learn that this is in fact a console.

Let's move on though.  What does the WiiU really have at this moment?

Nintendo Land
New Super Mario Bros U
ZombiU
Lego City

Now really New Super Mario Bros U is the only system seller but once again with a title that is so similar to the previous installment that really nobody knows it is a different game once again.  This would explain why this game hasnt been flying off shelves, yet wait for it.....It has with 1.66m sold to date.  This is considering that the WiiU has sold 2.81m consoles.  I do not believe that New Super Mario Bros U is a system seller though simply because people 1.  Do not know it is new and 2.  It needs assistance of a few other games to be bought which in the future it will get from Pikmin and Zelda.  No Pikmin isn't a system seller either but Zelda is. Not to mention 3D mario and Mario Kart U.  Oh and wait the Xenoblade game and Wonderful101

Now with that said here comes the big one.  We know that Pikmin and Zelda is coming this year, however what about 3D Mario and Mario Kart U?  Now maybe I missed some news somewhere but if those can release this holiday expect the WiiU to have numbers that rivals the 3DS during the Holidays.  Also I want you all to notice the sells spike since Lego City has released.  That isn't even a big system seller.  Now imagine when nintendo releases big games, something you guys have been trying to ignore.  And yeah we don't even know what is going to be at E3, maybe even more announcements.

Now wait one second, you also have the new consoles coming out that is NeXbox and PS4.  Will they hold the WiiU back?  This is something I don't really see either one effecting too much unless the NeXbox truly does release with a 99$ option.  The reason is because people love Mario.  They want to buy Mario for their kids and MSFT and Sony really isn't going to stop Mario from being popular.  And I will argue and say that holidays are more for kids than anybody else.

Lastly for my prediction to come true the WiiU needs to sell between 5-8m between now and December.  Something I expect it to achieve.

Oh and one last thing, Vgchartz, put the WiiU on the front page.

(Update)  I missed a week so if anybody can give me last weeks number that would be great.
