Pointing out your errors isn't aggressive or defensive. It's actually pretty natural. If anything, you're the one being defensive here. And this has nothing to do with favoring a company, nor with starting arguments. You simply posted some wrong information and the good folks of VGChartz were happy enough to give you the correct information. You should be happy and appreciative, not defensive. But if you don't want to be frustrated with responses correcting you, then don't post false material on an open forum.
