Cart Life gets grand prize at the IGF Awards @ GDC 2013

The Independent Games Festival has crowned Richard Hofmeier’s Cart Life as its game of the year at its 2013 awards show.

It claimed three awards in total – the Seumas McNally Grand Prize, the Nuovo Award and Excellence in Narrative.

Subset Games’ FTL: Faster Than Light claimed two prizes at the IGF Awards, with Kentucky Route Zero and Little Inferno also scooping major prizes. The full list is as follows:

Excellence in Visual Art: Kentucky Route Zero (Cardboard Computer)

Excellence in Audio: 140 (Jeppe Carlsen)
Excellence in Narrative: Cart Life (Richard Hofmeier)
