Because it's on the 360, and most JRPG fans prefer Sony and Nintendo systems.

Incorrect. Most JRPG "fans" are fanboys. Real fans of the genre, follow the genre. When Lost Odyssey launched on 360, it had the most JRPGs available. I know because I actually looked at the 360 release schedule before it launched. I saw the amount of JRPGs on the docket and bought one. Most JRPG "fans" ran out and bought PS3s and then trolled any JRPG title released on 360. Lost Odyssey included. It really got annoying. You'd go into a thread to discuss the game and there were a bunch of JRPG "fans" complaining about the game not being on PS3. It was pathetic.

Lost Odyssey was and is exceptional. Of course, if you tried to discuss after it's release. You got bombarded by these supposed JRPG fans that hadn't played the game telling you otherwise. These alleged fans also praised the greatnes of FFXIII even though it wasn't out. That was rather ironic given the way things turned out with that game.

Okay, mini-rant over. Sorry guys. Continue on. Maybe we can see a sequel to Lost Odyssey someday. Sakaguchi still has his magic. Lord knows Final Fantasy could use him again.

Honestly you kind of proved my point. Unless you were just saying "incorrect" to the fan/fanboy distinction. However I'm not sure if that's entirely true. Because JRPGs haven't been very common with MS systems, but have with Nintendo and Sony ones, there's going to be a lot of people conditioned to them and only want to buy JRPGs on Nintendo and Sony systems. Sometimes it even extends to specific games -- for example, in Japan, people like playing Tales games on Sony systems more than Nintendo/MS ones. People are just more comfortable and expect certain games on certain platforms because that's what they're used to. Can you call them fanboys for that? I don't know.

A JRPG fan  would have bought a 360 because lets be honest here, for the bulk of the last generation that's where the console JRPGs were. This wasn't a PSP and DS situation in which you could look at either platform for a JRPG fix. The Wii and PS3 had slim pickings when it came to JRPGs. So if you didn't buy a 360 when it was practically the sole source for JRPGs. Don't claim to be a JRPG fan.

oh please, how much Jrpgs are coming out for 360 this year? how about last year? year before that? Lets not act like 360 dominates that market. They havent in a while if ever, that honor goes to PSP and DS. And like you said yourself if you have either of those (and looking at sales, especially in Japan) alot of people have those. So that where you would get your JRPG fix and frankly a good amonut of those JRPGs ended up getting ported anyway.. I think LO and BD are the only actual exclusives left

The only JRPGs coming to 360 at this point are multiplats. However maybe I was unclear. I was referring to the first half of the generation. The first half of the generation. The PS3 and the Wii had next to know JRPG offerings? You can't honestly tell me that during the first four years of the generation the PS3 and Wii were getting more JRPG content.

I really wouldnt know or honestly i didnt care. because I didnt own one of the HDs are even the WIi in the first few years, im more of a present guy now, thats alll well and good. but who cares what happened that long ago? How much JRPGs are released for the system now? All i see are exclusive PS3 ones and FF13-3 which is multiplat.

For argument ill say you're right, but when its all said and done. Can anyone honestly say that 360 dominated the pS3 adn WIi in the JRPG genre the ENTIRE gen, very few people are going to single out just a couple of years.
