God forbid you ever teach one to play video games.
What begins as you walking your female best friend through Wii Sports Resort and being proud of them the first time they finish in the top 6 on Mario Kart Wii gives way to soul-crushing horror a few months later when they lap your arse around Rainbow Road, beat you 6-10 at Goldeneye Wii, carry you through Black Ops 2 zombies, and offer to beat the boss you're stuck on in Gears of War 3 on Insane difficulty and do it in one try when you've died on it a dozen times.
Never underestimate a woman with a controller; they can take time to gain any traction, but once they do they're a unstoppable force. She caught up to (and passed) me in skill in 2 years, and I' been gaming for 20! XD
