I do agree that Dead Space is moving away from the horror-survival and into the action category....I actually thought this was quite apparent when looking at Dead Space 2 compared to the original. That said, I haven't played Dead Space 3 yet.
One question I have about the review is......do other people think the controls are too sluggish. I played both Dead Space 1 and 2, and I find it hard to believe that the gameplay has become too sluggish. At least in my experience, that would be a step backward for the game because I always felt Dead Space had some great, responsive controls, especially compared with the rest of the genre.
