All the Wii U needs is the release of Mario Kart U and 2D Mario in November/December...they probably won't even need to cut the price of the thing, but the release of those two titles and a $50/£50 price cut will well and truly scupper the launches of the other two consoles.

You mean 3D. Yes? Anyway, I agree. By the time PS4/X720 come out, WiiU will have Wii Fit U, Mario Kart, 3D Mario, Pikmin 3, Zelda Wind Waker HD, Lego City, Game & Wario, Wonderful 101, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Dragon Quest X, Yarn Yoshi, Wii Party U, and possibly Bayonetta 2, whatever Retro's working on, and 'X'.

And on top of all that 3rd party multiplats like COD, Skylanders, (Watchdogs?), Rayman, FIFA, Just Dance and whatnot.

Also, a by-then very well established e-shop with -tons- of exclusive digital content (as well as multiplat stuff of course)

That's not even taking into account any and all unannounced stuff both 1st and 3rd party. Iwata already confirmed they have things in the works for 2013 they have yet to unveil.

All that while PS4/X720 will be just launching with what will most likely be a very limited number of games, and having to go through launch and all the problems it brings, such as bugs and missing functionality and whatnot (and yes that will happen, it always happens, and is only to be expexted of course).
