Of all the versions, they probably made the most losses with the WiiU version ^^

Seriously though the first Epic Mickey was successful because of the brand and not because it was a must have title.
They (either Junction Point or Disney themselves) thought the Epic Mickey franchise would be a big success in the following years, so they developed a sequel to other consoles and it bombed everywhere including Wii (if we believe the rumored numbers, though even our VGC data shows the massive decline).

Reminds me of the de Blob debacle with the only difference that the sequel was still decent and still bombed.
