Racism is a changing face in America. In the past it has been a minority (black/mexican/asian/etc) vs white. But things have been changing over the last decade or so, and as the hispanic population has increased (and hispanic gangs have exloded in membership) they have begun a race war against the blacks. Not just in prison, and over guns and drugs, but over territory, and to innocent people who have no gang affiliation. The southern states are the most affected. But what can be done about this and how can law enforcement start to make a dent?

This is the the article that prompted my post: http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-0126-compton-20130126,0,977110.story

What are people to do when apparently the law has no control over these areas? Its shameful that people in this day and age are fearful of where they can live, and even more shameful that the police can not seem to stop it. I dont live in LA, but I dont live to far from San Bernardino (getting worse every year) and as housing gets shut down in LA these gangs are moving to the suburbs and bringing their views and their crime with them.

i live in riverside... and yes it is getting worse and worse in inland empire..... esp. san bernardino county
