Microsoft customer support always asks questions and if the issue isn't RRoD related the original warranty applies.

  1. Stop making things up. Unless you can back that claim up against all the people that have had excellent customer support with MS and their red ringed 360's don't even bother.
  2. Please stay on topic (goes for everyone diverging to 360's and RRoD's).

1) You can read thousands of postings regarding 360 owners talking about questions asked by Microsoft customer care.

2) It's a fact DVD issues aren't covered by RRoD warranty extention.

Do some research, google is your friend.

P.S. the original post compared PS3 issues with XBox 360 issues. Just try to look at this a bit more objectively, nomatter being a 360 fan or not.
