Disney is getting set to unveil its major project this coming January, which has all been in development for quite sometime and it looks like it will be called "Disney Infinity." According to a report from VG24/7 on Tuesday, invitations to a major reveal from Disney Interactive have been sent out to various news sites for a press conference that is scheduled for Jan. 15th. The conference is supposedly going to be unleashing what Disney has been working on called "Disney Infinity." Several executives from Disney, Disney Interactive co-president John Pleasants and Pixar CCO John Lasseter, will be attending the event in-person. The invitation is being sold by Disney as a major reveal, which many believe is going to end up being for their "Skylanders" equivalent. "Disney Infinity" has been claimed to be the title of the project that ultimately features various Disney and Pixar characters in an interactive, gaming environment for the first time. Depending on the release date and information divulged regarding the title, it's not impossible to see this game ending up on next-generation systems. Many games that are announced from here on out are expected to be heading toward next-generation consoles, while still being ported to current systems as well.
