Precisely how gun control works.

Show me a pattern of thousands of similar incidents and I will agree.

For starters, Washington D.C has the highest homicide rate in the country and only recently allowed handguns. Meanwhile, New Hampshire has some of the most lenient gun policies and at the same time has the lowest homicide rates, comparable to Switzerland (which also has strong gun rights.)

But it has been made quite clear that the police aren't here to protect us in the U.S, or at least they're not obligated to. This has been stated in dozens of court cases since 1870. As long as we have guns, it's fine with me.

I love articles like these when the vulnerable protect themselves, when otherwise they could not.

Anyway, should we ban cars? There are about three times more deaths by care per year than gun deaths. In fact, why not go back to prohibition? Drunk drivers kill 25,000 people per year!

As a citizen of a free nation, and as a constiutent of  peoples who employ the government, I'll fight to the last breath for every single one of my constiutional rights, including the second ammendment, but also others which are being infringed upon by our current, oversized Federal government, like due process of law, in example.
