WiiU (deluxe) console ~ $175 cost of materials.
Gamepad ~ $85 cost of materials.

Full package ~$260 of materials.

Once you include cords/stands, shipping, packaging, and retail partner profit... I can see how Nintendo said it requires one game sale to make Nintendo a profit.
