His view of war has changed drastically....he associates modern war with sci-fi........

For Killzone, it “has the right, gritty feel for things — the crosstalk is right, and you feel like you are in a real infantry platoon,” Mull explained to VentureBeat in an interview. “Some of the weapon features make a helluva lot of sense, too — for example, the main rifle sounds a tone for the last five or so rounds in each magazine, and the grenades feature an LED bargraph to aid in cooking.”

Did you read that or...? He didn't say Killzone is exactly the same as modern day war. He was just pointing out features that make it more realistic than other military shooters. Yeah it's a sci-fi shooters but it's not like they're firing lasers.

Then the thread title is misleading. It should say "Soldier: Killzone 3, Fallout 3 Have Some Aspects of Realistic Combat"

No because the title doesn't say "Killzone 3, Fallout 3 are identical to real life war". The title is saying that out of all the military shooters out there Killzone 3 and Fallout 3 are the most realistic and come close to the real life thing. Just so you know this is this guys opinon, and he has been in the military so it's not like he doesn't know what the real thing feels like.
