Why shoud they cut their losses? All they need to do is drop the price, and maybe release a heavy-hitter. It's still to early to kill the Vita off. 

Vita is selling better than PSP, why would they discontinue Vita before the PSP? Do you not think before you write?

Anyone else notice how this article was ironically written today on Black Friday? Makes you wonder what kind of agenda they have against Sony.
