Not to be an ass, since im getting the system anyway Sunday, but a lot of this information should have been given out months ago. They are kinda big.

The external harddrive that you use takes up two USB slots on the system.
The OS out the box is half the size for the Basic system
No USB flash drives

I think that external USB powered HDDs will work fine being connected to only 1 port. They are just covering their ass to avoid lawsuits.

And the need to format the HDD isn't very surprising, it was a logical move to avoid (temporary) piracy.

I agree with you that having Miiverse, the browser and all that (because it's basically that, the things the console will download the first time it connects to the net) on the 8/32GB of storage is a bad decision, as they take a lot of space. They should have included aditional storage to take care of that.

Surprised about the flash drives, but I agree that some of them use low quality NAND and are very slow.

Do anyone know what this means?

- SD Cards can hold PC data, Wii Virtual Console, Wii Ware, and Wii save data, but cannot be used to save Wii U game save data.

What PC data? Do they mean pictures, and media like music and vids?

Please excuse my bad English.
