GOWA 3 times higher than GOW3 on the same week (60k vs 20k). Why? I don't see it being much bigger.

Huh? I can't see it? Besides, isn't it GOWJ?

God of War: Ascension, Gears isn't up there yet.

You should've made it clear. GOW stands for Gears of War; because its a higher selling franchise, anytime you say GOW people will automatically assume you're referring to Gears of War.

Lol Gears of War is barely a bigger franchise than God of War. Not to mention a higher majority of people know Kratos and barely anyone knows the marcus guy (w.e his name is). And btw, when he said GOW I automatically thought of God of War. There goes your "anytime you say GOW people will automatically assume you're referring to Gears of War" statement. Have nice day.

BOLDED: Lol...do you have proof to back up that ridiculous claim?

OT: It's not rocket science guys...higher sales = rights to the acronym. People need to stop using GOW to talk about god of war; no one's gonna understand what you mean as everybody will assume you're referring to gears of war, as its the more popular franchise. Henceforth, GOW = gears of war and GODOWA = god of war

You do realize that the God of War franchise has sold more than Gears of War, right? Or are you moving the goalposts to "average sold per game"? In that case, Gears has an advantage - there are hardly any other major first-party games on the 360.

Spin-offs don't count.
