That assertion becomes even more amusing when you consider that Siemens got out of the cell phone business and sold the entire division to Benq two years after that phone was a best seller.

even more amusing when you consider that BenQ Mobile had to close down two years after Siemens sold this business. 4 years after this phone released.

Hey, that IS pretty amusing! I didn't even realize that BenQ's mobile went under.

It just goes to show you, you can't really plan for ten years ahead. That is an absolute eternity in technical circles. Hell, dual core chips only came out seven years ago with the Pentium D and AMD Opterons and you can't even buy single cores anymore now. Things are just moving too fast now for a decade plan.

Just makes you wonder what the hell we're going to be using in 2023... :p

But yeah. Handhelds don't have nearly the kind of directing power as consoles in terms of how hardware is utilized, as mobile games don't require as big an investment as console and PC stuff. The controls and software available to the Vita will be far more important to it's survival than the malleable "console in your pocket" promotion they've been doing.

Have some time to kill? Read my shitty games blog. http://www.pixlbit.com/blogs/586/gigantor21
