Dreamcast was much more powerful than N64 and PS.
Then PS2 came along. Then GameCube came along. Then XBOX came along.

What I mean is that, the U may seem really powerful (for some people) right now, but nobody knows what's in store for the other companies.
I'm a little on the fence about the U's power, but being totally honest, I can't really say at this point. It will be interesting to see the console's actual performance on multi-platform tittles from the PS3/360 era, and then the PS4/720 era.

Only time will tell how good the performance of the system is.
