Actually, the Wii isn't that much higher than the PS3 & 360. When you exclude any games with 'Wii' in the title, the list would be virtually identical.

I'm sure if the PS3 had games with 'PS3' in the title, they would sell as much as those Wii games. The difference is: Sony doesn't implement dirty tactics for sales like Nintendo does. Sony wants to earn success. That doesn't include putting the name of the console in a game's title to mislead consumers.

The only reason Wii games sell so much is because game have the word 'Wii' in their title.

What? What was that?

you were saying?

Okay...one game. WoW. It's okay to do this a few times. It only becomes dirty  when you do it consistently (I'm looking at you, Nintendo)

Besides, Sony didn't orignally want to include 'Playstation' in the title. They've said so themselves. But they released a poll on the PSBlog and the overwhelming majority voted that Sony should put it in the title. Sony's just trying to please consumers (as usual)

Well, since Sony copies everything Nintendo does I'm afraid you'll be seeing this more and more; Nintendo knows what sells and Sony copies. It's the circle of the industry.

And of course they couldn't outright SAY they're copying Nintendo; they had to make an excuse to follow suit. And that poll only shows that people already loves what Nintendo does (having console name in the games title), so of course Sony has to copy it. It's only natural as Sony can't come up with anything new. It's been like this for generations now.
