First off, I'm always skeptical of Android tables because frankly a lot of them suck (though that's more my opinion than fact). As much fun as it is to hate Apple, iPads are about the best tablets around (especially for what you want).
Second, if you're buying the cheapest tablet you can find you're going to get exactly what you pay. A cheap, bad tablet.
Third, if something is 40% off there's generally a good reason for that. If it's something well-known like the Kindle suddenly getting $110 off that means there's probably a new version around the corner. If it's something largely unknown (I could find nothing on that tablet) that's suddenly 40% off, it's probably because they can't sell the thing.
Don't get it.
