Tabloid tactics don't qualify as lying, it's talking vaguely with little credibilty based on likelyhoods.
Yes, Versus being cancelled is a likelyhood given how long it's been since it was announced.
Worse case scenario for Kotaku is to say "our bad" but they get the attention anyway. It's a win - win for them.
By the way GameInformer is just running the Kotaku story just like everyone else, confirm what you post before you post it, please.
