Microsoft told Pachter their E3 focus is on services over games

First of all, people always question Pachter's credibility and statement accuracy but now everyone's accepting this as fact? Not saying it's not going to happen, because it most certainly could, but I'm going to reserve final judgment for E3.

And when it comes to exclusives, Microsoft seems to do what works for them. They release a small number of high profile exclusives each year that are guaranteed to make a ton of money. Maybe the uncertain outcome of making a fresh IP (ahem, Alan Wake) is too risky a prospect, unfortunately.
