Sony between owning the music studios and television lines has a lot of work to do to try and go broke.
We can all pretty much think up what physical products Apple puts out on two hand (minus accessories). iPod, iPhone, iPad, iMac, Macbook and on.
Can you name all of Sony's television sets?
I think it is a matter of too much with Sony. Streamlining and elimination of product divisions will do Sony a world of wonder.
As for getting back the "Sony" means quality in the public imagination is another matter. Sony has to work for meaning quality again. They have lost it in the past 5 years. Sony has to show why their products are the most reliable and most desirable.
