Afeter the Smash Bros U/3DS annoucement think it's possible the New 2D Mario to be released on both systems. I wonder why no one is speculating about it yet.

tie-in!? Who knows! Did Nintendo do something like that before?

It's interesting that they showed NSMBMii last year in WiiU, and past weeks announced a 2D Mario for 3DS this fiscal year.

New 2D Mario to be cross-platform for this holiday.

They did say that it was just a Wii U Demo... but we know that Nintendo can play ticks with our minds! XD
