The only one I know of is the Channel Surfing news articles that The Source / TWRoO / someone else lead with the help of other VGChartz members to gather the data. So 930,000 midway into 2009. It had been averaging 10,-20,000 a month for most of the time we did it, if I recall correctly. If it managed 10,000 a month up to now, that's 300,000 more. However, you have to take into account that there's a very large margin of error, due to the methodology used to ge the numbers.

Thus, I think it's safe to say that Ocarina of Time on Virtual Console is at somewhere between 1.0 and 1.5 million.

So that means, in total (minus the promotional disks) Ocarina of Time has probably sold about 12 million copies to date.

Considering how that game is considered both the best game and remake of all time, comparisons with a merely great Zelda are cruel. Especially one that had so much going against it.
