I liked the (semi) open-world of ODST's campaign, as brief as it was. I would like to see something like this in Halo 4, with branching paths, and maybe multiple missions or objectives that you can tackle as you like, rather than the linear keep-going-forward-till-you-reach-the-checkpoint type of gameplay that is the norm for most modern FPS games.

Halo multiplayer, while not exactly my cup of tea anymore (I now prefer the COD / Battlefield type multiplayer), it is what it is, and I don't expect any radical or sweeping changes to the formula, less they arouse the anger of the Halo fans. More objective based or co-op modes are always welcome though.

well that would normally also be the case for Halo reach but deadline's make the halo games always end up linear sadly...

I want to see also more hidden items and story like when you walk in ODST and see plenty of dead brutes and Elites and the soldiers are wondering what happened while you as Halo 2 player knew what happened..
