Resistance3, Killzone3, MW3, Rage, Portal2, Battlefield3, Crysis2, Duke Nukem Forever, see loads of shooters i've enjoyed this year, and most were a good challenge on the hardest difficulties. I don't really play online at the moment it all got a bit reprtitive but there has been some good story lines and amazing new game play in shooters this year. Not a bad time at all to be a shooter fan. Okay you got me Duke Nukem was a joke, take that one off my list!
