Good. Sony can't force people into a corner like this with impunity, especially if they think terms of service for the service at all extend to covering physical hardware that is owned
But they'll likely just whine and bully this one into submission as well. They are exceptionally good at nuisance legal activity (Lik-Sang, GeoHotz)
