Next year Microsoft will hype up Star Wars Kinect for the holiday season appealing to the casual gamer and competing with the Wii U, Halo 4 will probably be out there, and they will probably drop the price at least $50 putting more pressure on Sony and Nintendo. Also, Nintendo will release Wii U which will sell well for at least a while. |
The problem is, Move never really gave the PS3 that much momentum in the first place. As for 2012 being a better year than 2011, you are right, from the perspective of most gamers, 2011 will be hard to top. I guess 2012 is just better from my perspective, especially because I like Japanese games. The Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, FFXIII-2, Tales of Graces F, Metal Gear Solid: Rising, The Last Guardian, all of these games are, in my opinion, better than most of the games that came out in 2011. I don't know why but I just have a gut feeling that the price cut will still be making a significant impact in 2012, especially after the holiday period.
