No its a normal thing. My DS vs 3DS thread has like only 127 posts but has like +8,000 in views.Which is about 80 views per post. Sales topics get lots of views due to the interest in them. They just have a lack of anything to respond to with expections to cheers and predictions.
On topic: Never saw how bad 3DS was doing before coming in this thread software wise. I expect the 3DS to do well better over the holidays but remain in 3rd. Though your predictions seem accurate. Though what scares me is the software sales. Even with a price cut. The sales had no change in software.
