It's hard for me to say that I'm glad I missed a game, cause that would be like saying "I haven't played it, so there's no way to know if I would have enjoyed the game or not, but somehow I'm sure it was very wrong for me".
I know I decided not to play tons of games cause their concept or gameplay does not look appealing enough for me. And that's fine, of course, those games were not meant for me, but not because of something intrinsic to them, but because of my taste or my mood. See the difference? I am having a hard time to express it clearly.

On the other hand, it has happened to me many times that I gave a chance to games I was not interested and I even hated in the first place and I ended up loving the experience. Final Fantasy XIII, by instance.
