Would you donate money to your country if you thought it would help it?

Given the fact that I worked at two soup kitchens last week alone, and my wife gave money to make sure a friend could go to the doctors office, I would say "yes".

I'd like to have more money to do it too, but unfortunately, taxes are a large part of why I cannot.
