I ahve no doubt 3ds will have phone quality games but they won't be priced the same as their phon e game counterparts it will just be shovelware cash grabs, psv will have phone games ports for the same price, and Nintendo has gone on record saying they don't see a need to compete with phone games (or something like that wording is definately off but the point is the same), 3ds/wiiU games I haven't heard of any or even that Nintnedo is looking into it, Nintnedo still doesn't have the store up so I'm not holding my breath for DSi ware games being any good any time soon, and the anlogue replaces the D pad the thing is still locked for 8 directions it's not enhanced at all, Sony is adding a different joystick that can control the camera, 3ds just has a choice been analogue and dpad.

I'm not so sure about the quality new IPs Nintendo isn't interested and third parties are more known for shovelware, sure they will be a few gems but that game isn't even out yet and the 3ds has been out for months there isn't anything like what I'm talking about out on the 3ds yet and psv will have a few on release, and really you think no1 is getting tired of pokemon?

Well the quality comes from the second analogue and better hardware in short psv is capable of delivering better games then the 3ds is, add to that all the talent Sony devs have and the fact that htey steped up their game on ps3 and that psv is attracting the attention of more 3rd party devs with the fact that Nintnedo only sticks to the same formulas, so well their games might be good when it's the same thing we've doen 10 times it's not as good as it was the first time even if it's better and thrid parties tend to go shovelware on Nintendos platforms, as for the quantitty, like I said psv has more types of games skews then 3ds will and is attracting more 3rd parties (alot of which have never been interested in handhelds before) and that Sony just has more devs and well the 3ds does have a headstart the psv has a good price point (unlike ps3) so it won't be that hard to overcome esepecailly with 3ds lack of games so far

Dude, there are $2 games on the 3DS store right now!  And, while it didn't cost $2, I got Plants vs. Zombies and Uno (and Shantae: Risky's Revenge) on my 3DS, already!!  And they did announce the Wii U/3DS compatible option!!

Nintendo makes new IP's for every system for every generation.  Do some research.  DS alone had Brain Age, Nintendogs, Proffesor Layton (of the top of my head).  We already got Steel Diver at launch.  You think that's going to be it for Nintendo? These aren't the hardcore franchises that you're thinking of but they sell very well.  What did Sony do with the PSP?  Syphon Filter?  God of War?  Jack and Daxter?  Mod Nation Racers? Both companies will bring the new.

As for the third paragraph, that remains to be seen.  We'll see how Nintendo's first party compares to Sony's first party, soon enough.  I'm willing to bet that Nintendo takes it.  As for third parties, I'm willing to bet that they support the console with the biggest sales first and foremost (such is the nature of the third party).  We'll likely get a lot of ports, too.  Who knows, though.  I can't see the future and neither can you.  All I can see is the past and learn from it.  You seem to believe that what you think SHOULD or COULD happen is what WILL happen.

*edit* I think we were talking about two different things in terms of portable/console compatiblilty.  I think you were talking about how certain PS3 games would have a PSV version and allow you to continue the game on the go.  I was talking about how games for the Wii U would be able to use the 3DS as a controller.  Sorry if I caused some confusion.

to be fair, PSP have their 2 dollar PSN minis and has have them for years, dont you think Sony will continue this for PSV and IMO the phones have that cheap game thing on lock, at least for now. Does UNO for 3DS have an online function, im talking playing, not leaderboard crap, if it does i will freak. THe online scene for PS3 is slow

Gotta go to work but before I do:  Yeah, Uno supports online play.  Also, I have a few PSP Minis (That camelot golf game, some tennis game, Terra Dark Warrior, Tetris, and probably a few I can't remember right now).  I wasn't saying that Sony didn't have the Minis or cellphone style games.  I was just countering the argument that the 3DS didn't have such titles.
