As long as the GT series continues its decline and the Forza series continues its sales increase the last "win" GT had of being "bigger" evaporates.
It terms of scores, Forza seems to have it in the bag. Given the extended development of further Polyphony games, the major concern for them is the continued undercutting of the genre by Turn 10's incredibly efficient game making process.
