Even after being in the handheld department for a few years now, Sony and their third parties still do not understand the market. They are trying to saturate the Vita with console-esque games that, quite frankly, people would rather play on a console.

The same exact thing happened to the PSP. Sony came out with the NGP thinking price was the only reason the PSP failed, yet right now, the PSP can be obtained at $120, while the DSi and DSiXL are $150 and up, yet the DS still trumps the PSP in worldwide sales. Not to mention, the software-less 3DS, at $250, is trumping the PSP worldwide, and obliterating the platform in America.

The thing Sony needs to understand, is that the handheld market is supposed to be made up of handheld games.
