The ghosting can also be caused by the glasses. If they don't close fast enough or aren't completely dark you'll be able to see the other picture. That tv probably doesn't come with the best 3D shutter glasses since those can be around 200 dollars a pair.

You're probably better of buying a 2nd tv and console and link the two consoles instead of buying 8 pairs of glasses.

I believe most glasses have been improved to a point where this isn't an issue anymore. Only TVs themselves are the reason there is ghosting... But yes, I agree, 8 player split screen like this with 8 pairs of glasses is crazy.

What I want is I want 2 player full screen, full game res, no ghosting on 92 inch projector screen. That sounds a bit less insane right... :)

Yup that would be nice. I played Killzone 3 and portal 2 splitscreen on a 92 inch screen and the size of the picture is not really the problem, it's the field of view that is cut off too much.

It would be better if those games shrunk the pictures a bit more and switched to 1080p output to get the same field of view in the correct aspect ratio. It is kinda nice to be able to see the other players screen in co-op after all.

Maybe next gen is powerful enough to do 2 player fullscreen in full detail that way with pip to see your co-op partners pov in a corner :) That doesn't even cost any extra power, simply shrink each picture and paste into the others view.
