What first party? o_O;;;; Who the fuck cares about MS 1st party games besides Halo 4? Seriously, anybody gives a shit about "Adventure" games? Halo is all that matters for MS 1st party, and I doubt they'd fuck up that game with Kinect.

Its not going to be mandotory...it would probably be extra features like the voice control or something like that.

That's a lame feature for anything other than a more complex RTS anyways(voice commands,) and you have to hide and play by yourself so people don't fuck you over on purpose, since I'd totally fuck up other people intentionally when they have it on just to piss them off.

It doesn't have to be voice controll, I was just giving an example. The point is its not mandatory and most of the time it will probably be just some extra features.

I still think the concept was rushed out too early with Kinect when they should have done more R&D on it personally. It's a good concept that's not powerful enough so a lot of things feel tacked on when it comes to dealing with vet gamers.

The Kinect hardware itself is pretty advanced and actually contains better components than are currently being used.  The bottleneck here is really the 360.  If you've seen Kinect working on PCs you'll see it's much more accurate and there is less lag.   They've already improved the tracking considerably through software upgrades even with the 360.

There is no reason existing Kinect sensors couldn't be used on the next gen Xbox and give you much better results than you are seeing now.

I've brought this up before in an older thread already, Kinect is too much for 360 and too little for PC. Had they spent more time on R&D, they'd have noticed it instead of being hellbent on drawing in casual crowds and giving the core something half assed. The next Xbox will need a better Kinect than the current one, it needs a lot more tracking points, even better IR depth sensing, and higher resolution, on top of everything, it has to be 1:1 with every motion you make while being in every new next gen Xbox.
