i agree with you , though i disagree with you on the game being decent, you are being too nice.
i just wish FFXIII didn't exist and FFXIII-2 is FFXIII instead, i loved the world even before the game came out from reading all about it on the FF Wiki , and the short stories, then i ended up playing as retards in paradise, doing retarded stuff that i don't care about, while feeling like i am playing a big long huge tutorial for a game.
