DRM's not there to stop piracy you dope, it's to control how legitimate owners use their game post-sale. Pirates don't give a fuck about DRM, because they never have to experience it- the DRM scheme is ripped out or modified before the cracked games get released to leechers as a torrent/ newsgroup binary/ whatever.

Your 'PS' is as ignorant as the rest of your posts in this thread. While many PC owners have embraced the future of digital downloads completely, boxed retail still accounts for about half of sales.

Even blizzard and valve(let's face it steam is another form of DRM as you have to register every boxed steam enabled PC CD game you bought from the cd to it) have to think new ways to further enhance their DRM..Are they ripping off their customers too?

And also, boxed retail sales for majority of multiplat games pale in comparison to their console counterparts.(unless you want to tell me vgchartz is not reliable for boxed sales)
